Our Story & Structure
Triple Nickel Pines began as a peaceful, privately owned cabin retreat designed for rest, reconnection, and time in nature. Over time, as we became more involved in the alpaca community, we recognized a growing need for safe, long-term placement for animals facing neglect, displacement, or uncertain futures. That need led to the creation of TNP Alpaca Rescue.
While the cabins and the rescue share the same beautiful property, they are operated as separate entities with independent missions, management, and financial structures. The cabins remain a for-profit business focused on providing a quiet getaway experience for solo travelers and couples. TNP Alpaca Rescue operates as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated exclusively to animal care and sanctuary work.
The rescue is sustained through charitable contributions, community support, and responsible nonprofit stewardship. All tax-deductible donations must be made directly to TNP Alpaca Rescue. Cabin stays are lodging transactions and are not charitable contributions.
Together, the presence of both on the property has created something special — a space where rest, compassion, and animal welfare exist side by side while remaining clearly and responsibly structured.
